Social challenges” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]

During the last 10 years more than half of the population has been living in cities. At present, regretfully cities are not able to properly address most of the environmental, economic and mobility challenges. However, social challenges are gaining impact in the quality of life of citizens and where the access to new technologies may trigger and widen social disparities between those who have access and those who havenat.

It is a fundamental interest of mankind to establish and operate cities that are sustainable in all aspects. May the Smart City concept mean a solution for this? And beyond sustainability, can a?the cities of the futurea? reduce social and financial inequalities?
